Community Outings Built Around the Individual

Solo Trips are designed for individuals who may want to enjoy activities in the community, try something new, build confidence, practice life skills, or simply have a fun and meaningful day out with the right support in place.

1:1 Support

A support worker attends the outing with the individual to provide encouragement, supervision, social support, and assistance as needed.

2:1 Support When Needed

Some outings may require two support workers depending on the location, accessibility needs, safety planning, or personal care needs.

Planned With Care

Each outing is discussed ahead of time so we can understand the individual’s interests, comfort level, goals, and support requirements.

What Can a Solo Trip Look Like?

The possibilities are flexible. Inclusive Quality Care is open to discussing different outing ideas and helping families create a plan that feels safe, enjoyable, and realistic for the individual.

Why Families Choose Solo Trips

Confidence

Outings can help individuals build confidence while enjoying activities that matter to them.

Independence

Trips can include opportunities to practice life skills, decision making, communication, and community participation.

Connection

Supported outings allow individuals to enjoy meaningful experiences outside of the home in a safe and encouraging way.

Pricing & Planning

Pricing is discussed during the intake meeting once we understand the outing, support ratio, length of time, transportation needs, admission costs, staffing requirements, and any additional planning involved.

Every trip is planned individually so families know what to expect before moving forward.
